Molly Wingert was born and raised in Iowa.

When she was young, her father enrolled her in extracurricular art classes with local artist, who became an inspiration for her. It was in these art classes that Wingert developed her love for painting and drawing. Wingert graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in 2016 and earned her Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts just one year later. She next set her sights on Buena Vista University to study studio art, graphic design, and digital media. She graduated from BVU in the Spring of 2020 and plans to continue her education in graduate school to obtain her Masters of Fine Arts degree and ultimately become a professor of art and design.
